went to school for some cip thing early in the morning. i was quite late. jeremy called or else i probably wouldn't go and have to make up another 8 hours of cip. thanks jeremy!! you best already. haha.

after that went to play pool with rayson, lileen and eileen again! (:
i've something new to share this week!! *BEAMS* cell group mtg was great today!!! learnt alot and had alot of fun. i'm so glad i made it there because i was kinda reluctant to go at first. for the past days, i feel myself drifting away from HIM and now i feel HIS presence again! Prayer bringing personal revival. it really made me realise the importance of prayer.
if we are not experiencing God's presence, it because we've shifted our position of faith. HE is always there but you have to make a decision to get to know him and accept him. You must be willing to take the first step and open your heart to allow room for Jesus in you.
WHY IS PRAYER SO IMPORTANT?
1) prayer opens the heavens over me
be willing to pray and believe that God will help you. don just pray for the sake of praying.
-you must be a sincere and earnest prayer and BELIEVE that God will help you.
2) prayer makes us attractive to the holy spirit
sometimes we don't know how we should pray and what we should exactly pray for. the holy spirit helps us and bring us closer to God.
but we must be willing to commit to God to see the will of God and what God wants you to be.
-prayer brings the presence of holy spirit to us
3) prayer makes us more and more like God
If you spend alot of time with your friends, you'll eventually become closer and become more like them. Likewise, if you spend more time with God, you will change to become more like him.
God has a purpose for our life and we must discover who we are meant to be in HIM.
-prayer transforms us
4) prayer breaks the stubborness of my rebellious flesh.
( i find this exceptionally meaningful )
the rebellious flesh means what in you which is opposing the will of God.
for example, you might not feel like attending chruch, nor cellgrp because you are tired or even just beacuse you don't feel God's presence. Little things that happen make you lose faith.
that is because your rebellious flesh is telling and making you feel that way.
SIN: the inward spiritual attitude of rebellion towards God.
But, you can make a decision to live for God and crucify our flesh.
always be ready for the presence of God in your life.
Prayer breaks the flesh of stubborness in us. It will build us up spiritually and make us a stronger person on the inside so that we would not be tempted and weakened by our rebellious flesh.
and to bulid up our innerself spiritually, we need DISCIPLINE.
everything in the future is determined by the decisions you make. to acheive what you want, you need discipline.
e.g it's okay to have fun and play once in a while but you need discipline yourself to do certain things which are ought to be done.
Make decisions NOT based on your feelings/emotions. that would limit you from your destiny. make decisions rationally. you have to change. - stop giving yourself excuses.
-pray with faith and believe in HIM.
5) prayer releases the power of God in your life.
Commit yourself and do what you should do. Believe in the power of prayer.
for e.g this man might not be a very capable person, but because he prayed and believed that God would help him, he accomplished tasks which he thought was beyond his limits.
this really helped me alot in understanding more. i just want to share and let everyone know that God is always there, it's whether you are willing to take the first step to accept and let him help you.
jeff prayed for our chruch's moving to expo in 2 weeks time. i thought it was really meaningful and what everybody in chc would really wish for. it's not the distance that matters and which will discourage the people from going for the services but that people would go there for the sake for God. let's pray for everything to go smoothly! (:
it was great hearing all the testimonies on the overnight prayer meeting! PRAISE THE LORD!! =D
i didn't manage to go cuz my parents didn't allow. (: so many of them went and shared about it. haha. it sounds so interesting and fun. fiona fell asleep during the prayer meeting!! haha.
jac's maid cooked mee and then played billard with victor, angie and joshua after cell grp. jeff and rach was teaching me how to play guitar. i wanna learn!!

i'm so looking forward to church tmr. rayl, lileen and eileen are joining me! taking the shuttle bus cuz the evan's van is like so packed already. i'm tired!!! yoooohooooooo.
oh ya something funny happened on the train just now when i was with leila. haha this old man started talking to me. then he said i was clever and pretty!! *lalalalaa* and then HE GAVE ME HIS ADDRESS. hahaha ask me visit him. hahahaha. leila! you can visit him! =D
